So I got tuned uni stage 1+ on Wednesday at a VW dealer that's near me and I thought I would write a small review for the people who are still trying to decide what tune to get. To start off with, the minute I drove out of the dealer I noticed a huge difference in the car. Alot more throttle response, torque, pretty much everything you can think of. Not only is the car alot quicker, the car is also very smooth also still. I also noticed a little more mpg with the tune. Overall the car is incredible to drive now. Even merging on highways is really easy because the car just wants haul ass right as you get on it. It feels alot quicker than my previous mk5 did with apr stage 1. I'm not sure if its because its the tune difference or if its because I had the fsi motor and now I got the tsi. However, either way I'm so happy with the tune and it was worth every penny. What I thought was neat was that the dealer I went too also installs the uni parts for you like the turboback exhaust, intake and ko4 kit. Also the dealer gave a bunch of uni stickers and also a badge that says the stages for the back of the car. Kinda like the apr stage badges. But if anybody Is considering Uni I would fully recommend it.

Thanks for the review, this just solidified my decision to go with Uni!
No problem man! Trust me you won't be disappointed. I was debating going with apr again like I did on my mk5 but in the end decided with uni. The guy who did my tune at my vw dealer even said that apr is a good tune but unitronic is making itself well known in the vw tuning community and he said a lot of the customers he gets are people who had apr and switch. At first I thought my mk5 with apr had some power but in my opinion it's night and day difference. Also I even have the stock intake still for now until next Wednesday when I get my true seal intake. I'm sure after it breaths a little better it will open her up just a little more. Overall I think you will be amazed how your gti moves after the tune
