Stock Boost Pressure

Does anyone know what the stock boost pressure should be? I've got a 06 and it is boosting around 13-15 psi. just trying to figure out it this is the stock pressure. Dealership said the car had a tune on it. Any help Thanks

In NC, mine spikes to 15 and tapers to 11 i think. I will check.
I live in NC also and if I remember right my 08 used to hit about 14-15 and settle out at around 11 also.

try turning on the cruise control with the ignition switch on and holding the "set" button if your CEL starts to flash then you have apr tune on the ecu, usually, 1 flash per second is stock, then moves to 2 flashes is 91 octane then to 3 is 93 octane, release the button on the program you want and turn the key off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on and your CEL and EPC light should flash for a few seconds then you can crank the car and you are in that program. this is only for apr tho, could be a chance you lucked out.

Checked the cruise control thing and no luck there. I think the Dub dealership reflashed the ecu when the car went to them for maintenance. I know when I test drove the car it boosted about 17 psi in second and now all I get is 14 maybe 15. Anyone know of any good tuners in NC? I'm in Jacksonville area.

stage 1 on a mkv at 20psi?
I would not thinks either, but i actually saw mine spike up to 20psi today on Unitronic stage1+. Stage1+ for uni is supposed to be 18 I think. I was actually starting to think there for a while that they flashed my GTI with the regular stage1 that is rated at 16 lbs of boost. I will find out for sure when I have access to a laptop and learn my way around vag-com a little better so I can see what the computer is actually demanding.:cool:

Stage 2 Uni on a TSI is 20 spike, 18 hold... fyi....

Stage 1 APR I'm peaking 21 and holding 17-18 PSI.

From what I'm reading sounds like the same peak with stage 2 APR. How does it makes the additional HP / TQ?
