I bought a carlinkit3.0 and the wireless carplay works great in the 2021 GTI just like it did in the wire. I've also tried it in my wife's Passport without any issues. The instructions were pretty clear. The thing displays a bunch of Chinese characters when it boots up but there have been no issues at all using it. It's currently on sale for $95.
