i payed $30 for the warranty.... the shop will strip 2 windows and tint them over again

I'm going tint shopping tomorrow. A friend of mine with a SRT-4 (really nice and really powerful) has limo tint on all his windows and he hasn't gotten stopped by the police in the 2 years he's had it. But I don't want to go that dark, I'm thinking either 20 or 30 percent.
Well, if anyone cares, I just got my tint today. I ended up going 20 percent all around. Illegal... but barely. So I'll post pics on a nicer day. I'm so happy. I love the dark windows.
Of course we care...I'm hurt. OK, I lied, I'm not really hurt.

I don't understand... why would I have a problem with the fuzz? I have my original license plate. If i'm going to run into problems regardless, then I'm going to take off my texas plate and go with the Euro only...Dragon said:

nice guys, but i went 2% 8) all the way around and 30% on front windsheild i figure if i get a ticket for tint it might as well be a good 1.( plus its a fix it ticket any way) u take it off and put it back on when ur done. i only paid $60.and retint all i want I LIKE IT

Krypton- I was giving 22350 a bad time- since he is in CA. I don't know what your tint laws are where you live.
Oh, I misread that. My fault. Texas is one of the most lenient as far as tint laws, but 20% is still illegal here. The limit is 25%...i think. So, it's still pretty good. My friend has 2% and he's been driving his SRT-4 for about two years like that with no problem. I don't think they'll pull me over here unless they're having a bad day.
