Alright, so...

I drive a 2008 Mark 5 DSG Trans GTI. Yesterday I did a trans fluid and filter change. All went smooth (besides the fact that I spilled a liter of fluid... whoops.)

My issue is that somewhere alone the line of changing the fluid, I cracked a hose on both ends. It seems as if it's some kind of EGR Hose, possibly part of the emissions system. Here are the pics: Car Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive air manifold Automotive design

I took her for a test drive, and all went smoothly until one end of the hose slipped off the valve, and caused the car to lug a bit and not want to exceed 15mph (1st gear). Had hazards on the whole way home and removed the engine cover to find that I cracked the hose. I taped the hose with some electrical tape and went for another drive and found that this was indeed the problem. The hose I am looking for is wrapped in the GREEN ELECTRICAL TAPE.

So my question for all of you lovely people is... WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS PART???
I've searched online and can't find any info, I don't mind paying for the hose, I just need to know what the damn thing is.

Thanks in advance!
