hi guys i was thinkin about gettin some wheels for my 07 tornado red gti... im new to the euro sceene and wanted some opinions i have the stock 17's but i think i might want 18's ne info would help... thanks....

I've seen someone use automotive grade spray paint, and paint the stock "Huffs" black. It was sexy, original, and inexpensive. And it was on the tornado red G T I.

Yea those are the ones that I really want. They are a little pricey for me right now though. Saving my pennies so I can get them for the summer! Volk CE28N Time Attack. They are between start at around 570 and go up to 740 a wheel.

you know, they had those on a GTI at the dealership and so i've seen them in person. Sure, they look really nice and all but imagine cleaning them. And you also have to think about how ridiculously easy it would be to scratch those up, it's almost like they're sticking out.

Anybody consider going to VW for the wheels? They're all pretty expensive, at least $450 each. I really like the 18" Karthuoms (the big five-spoke ones). I thought I read that 18s would require spacers and a realignment. True?

The car shouldnt. The "Huffs" are 18s.
