So I did a boost leak test by pressurizing the system through the intake and found a few minor leaks but as I increased pressure up to around 12psi(this is where my car is capping off) I noticed a large leak coming from the wastegate actuator rod. Is this a common issue? Is it possible to change the actuator without removing turbo?
Thanks in advance!

Hmm sounds like your waste gate actuator needs to replace and unfortunately it's better for you to replace it with the turbo removed from the engine and exhaust because you can test the actuator and be able to see if it works properly.

I'm thinking of purchasing a forge actuator and installing it myself... Has anyone used this actuator? Would the turbo have to be removed for installation? What is setting the actuator require? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
