VW will be bringing at least one VW Toureg to the Baja 500 in June. Look for a slightly scaled down effort compared to Dakar, but a big effort none the less. Stay tuned, this could be cool!

I know that VW was doing well in Dakar, how did they end up finishing though?

They finished 4th, 7th, and 9th 10th 11th... Quite a big show they put on... They were leading through most and had late stage issues. The 500 is comparable to just one of their longer stages.

They will officially be listed as "SCORE International Trucks", which as I read more into it, sounds like they are buying there way to a Baja 500 championship run. Sal Fish of SCORE will not let any other trucks enter that class. Kinda lame now that I know more about it...
