i have the XM radio in my car but i dont know how to activate it. (i do but... mm keep reading hah). the dealer says you get 3 months free so a few days after i got it i tried to activate it FOR FREE on the internet and it was asking for an activation fee... do you have to pay for the activation fee considering yer suppose to have the car equipped with it for 3 months free?

I ran into the same 'activation fee' thing on the XM website also. I called XM and they activated it for me while I was on the phone. Just give them a call if you have trouble on the internet site... and yes you do get 3 months free.

I would assume you can still activate it. Give them a call and see. I know you will need your radio ID number when you call. That number was on a small card in my ownders manual books. I believe XM's number is 1 800 967-2346
