This is would be fun to drive but we will never see it. Looks like they engineered a backwards trike.

That top car, the "concept R" is actually called the Eos and it is coming out this fall i think (correct me if i'm wrong, but I actually thought that it was already out in Europe, or coming out very soon), as for the trike thing, don't expect to see anything like that on the roads any time soon.

I couldn't get a better picture at the time. That's the Eos, not the Concept R.

I know the Eos is due out in Fall...It actually made an appearance at Waterfest this year. I'm sure the Eos is built on a similar platform and is the watered down version of the Concept R.

However, If you look at the pictures of the Concept R it's only a two seater and it appears to be an air-cooled engine mounted in the rear. The fuel cap is on the front passenger side panel like a Porsche. Let's just hope the Eos is a hit so they can justify a demand for the Concept R and built it.

Yeah they had the Eos out here at Waterwagens it was pretty sweet we got to see the top work cause it started raining

The idea behind it is to have a hard top coupe and a convertible in the same car, it actually has a sunroof which is frickin huge. The convertible is a hard top which automatically folds into the trunk upon a push of a button. We have one in out show room we are taking orders off of. MSRP $35,385 and you can have one in 30days from today when VW begins to sell them. If u have any questions regarding one toss me a tell.

I have a feeling the Eos is going to appeal to college girls who are relatively well off and looking for a "cute" car, until of course they make one with a huge engine.
