My guitar arrived today.

I do have a question for you though, is yours color matched to your FAST? I was told by the dealership that it would be but mine is not (white guitar ... black FAST). Boxes have all been checked/x'd as being black.

I don't have an amp yet, but they are easy to get out here. Want the right guitar before I go out and get an amp.

I just realized I left the dealership yesterday without a guitar. Was he supposed to order one for me or what? We didn't even talk about it when I picked up the GTI.

My dealer said to allow 6 weeks for delivery of the guitar (it took the full 6). I'm not sure if they have to put an "order" in for one or if it's done on auto pilot.

I read somewhere (ad or online) that the guitar promo will expire Dec. 31, '06. Can't help but wonder what the next promo will be.

Or better yet, how many can actually play? I liked the mountain bike offer better.

I don't play but my better 1/2 does. I get the FAST, he gets the guitar. Good deal for me!

yes, mine is color matched and the VIN is correct too. Sounds like someone screwed up. You should send it back and get the correct guitar

VIN matched.

Called VW and was told I had gotten the wrong color and to send the guitar back at VW's expense (return shipping label was included with the guitar).

FED-EX will be here tomorrow to pick it up.

VW noted the problem on my account and will be shipping the correct guitar.

On a side note, I have read that VW customer service is difficult and I found this to be false. They seemed rather upset about the whole situation and were very helpful.

Yes...now the fun part begins ... WAITING! I'll post when the guitar arrives, sure hope it's not another 6 weeks.
