My UG 4dr. after paint job. Not very unique, and a slap in the face to most GTI enthusiasts with the red stripe gone but the silver stripe matches the brushed aluminum inside.

That's a really cool paint job, but you're right, the red should have stayed. I would like to see it with the red grin and stripe that continues up the hood.

Anyway, where did you get that done? How much was it? I've been thinking about doing the same thing since someone decided to carve "XOXO" in my hood a few weeks after I got it. :'(

Yeah, I seriously thought about that. I got a quote for the paint job and it's gonna be $600 to repaint the hood. That's the same price as the CF hood. For now I have just dealt with it since I don't have the cash to do anything about it. I hope I never find out who did it though. I would get in serious trouble.
