Understeer: A condition where a car feels like it wants to plow straight ahead instead of following the driver's steering wheel input. Severe understeer occurs when the front tires break loose, causing the car to plow forward instead of following a curve. A slang term for understeer is "push", as in "the car is pushing in the corners
