This makes no sense!!!

How the hell do you "check" a timing belt. the only way to see the timing belt is to remove the timing cover. and if it's already off then you should change it and the water pump at the same time.

And it's REQUIRED to be changed at 60,000 miles. It states that right in the owners manual.

Zulu,

Do you have a login for the Alldata site? I would really appreciate borrowing it to print the tsb's. Or could you email me a couple if I give you the TSB #'s?

I'd like the airbag ones to give to the dealer (having my 2nd "airbag fault" warning):

6906-05 MAY 06 Air Bag System - Warning Lamp ON/DTC's 01217 & 01218
6906-03 FEB 06 Air Bag System - Air Bag Module ID and Coding

Thanks!
