How fast have you gone in 5th gear? I've gotten up to 140mph in 5th. Does anyone know at what speed 5th gear ends at. How fast do you think an MKV can really go.

last nite once again i tried to top out my car in 5 i got to 135 mph and had a little left so i think you can get to 140mph in 5th and prob 160+ in 6th gear.

i have the room to but its the cops and cars. At 10pm there shouldn't be many ppl on the road so when i gun it there is always that one person fwording me up. I pretty sure i can it her up to 150mph and take a pic but i'll need some time.

i assume that you would top out in 6th gear at 146+. I just wanted to know how fast the gti can go in 5th gear. I got up to 137mph in 5th gear and still had 6th gear left.
