I spent 3 days recording the Olympics just to get the GTI commercials in HD and I've encoded some high res xvid's with mp3 audio if you want. Let me know where I can upload them or something so you can host the files. I've got three of them:

VW.2006.GTI-Keep.Things.Light-FreQi.avi
VW.2006.GTI-Pickup.or.Delivery-FreQi.avi
VW.2006.GTI-The.Windows.Down-FreQi.avi

Each is about 5megs a piece at 960x582

I still want to get good versions of the last three on this site. These make the FAST ads look conservative. These 3 are so funny.

CP+B forwarded my request to VW to have access to the files, Haven't heard back yet. Pulling every string I can to get 'em

Pulled some different strings and voila! got 'em they are in the video section.

Any progress to host FreQi's HiRes commercial recordings? I would really love to have these saved as HD. The whole "fast" campaign really rocks!

I'm having problems getting them to play??? I may have to have him resend them Keeps saying the file is corrupt. I'm checking things on my end first to make sure it's not my error.

Is VW targeting the 12 to 15 year olds in hopes that when they are legally able to drive they will rush down to buy a GTI, with daddy's check book, and drive off (FAST!!) to become another teen-age accident statistic? These "Make friends with your fast...", automotive ad series have to be the WORST that VW EVER came up, with since they've been in the U.S.A.

Some people think that you are right on the money. The thing that puts a kink into that theory is that this is one of the most talked about ad campaigns in years. For any company. Advertising costs money. Getting 100 million dollars worth of exposure spending only 5 million is the name of the game. Here you are, talking about how bad it is. That generates exposure. Example: every business exposed on 60 minutes, gained more sales. That is what CP+B planned. It is in my opinion, shear genius. That's what makes them better than anyone else. Spend 5 million with CP+B, and get 10-20 times your money's worth. People talking generates more exposure, and that's what its doing.

Any word on getting the HD ads up? I can give an ftp as a temporary holding place even. Got somee bandwidth that never gets used.

vw just got me access to all of their videos. No mexican vids yet, They did have to pull some bill boards because of them referring to testicles. LOL ;D
Soon as I find them I'll have'em posted. Creating a new video section, should have it finished in a few days. Gonna be way cool. Still ironing out the bugs on it and the new photogallery.

I'm working on a new intergration with joomla that will give us a lot more features including photo gallery, classifieds, video gallery and more.

Hey I was checking out youtube, and I found a GTI commercial that I had never seen...Ichecked the site and I dont think anyone posted it. Its pretty cool
