hey guys,

Its about time for a new set of wheels and tires for me. Im thinking of getting wider wheels and tires. Here's the setup I have in mind.

18x8.5 et45 + 245/40/18

What do you think?

I am lowered on H&R Adjustable Damping Street Performance Coils
About two fingers gap

I know I will have to roll my fenders, but is there any other problems I may run into?
Such as Fitting a BBK, Traction Control, Handling on Turns, hitting the side of bumper for big turns, etc?

Still fighting in my head for this.....
Please give me your opinions, Thanks!!!

Only issue I see is the tires. I would run 205/40

But that's just me, I like that look better

And you probably will not need to roll fenders and will not have issues with tight turns with the smaller tiers

What issues are you talking about specifically?

doesnt wider tire = better traction for accelerating and breaking?

I feel like 245s are just too wide for the fronts. 225/40 is stock fitment.
