I'm looking at getting an '03 Si to use as a commuter when my company car lease is up on the Ford Taurus. How was your Si on gas mileage?
you can't even use all the torque you have in first gear... you don't need a ton a torque during launch, a limited slip diff will help get more power to the ground efficiently, a car with as much torque as ours should definitely have a limited slip... i think it's the only downside about my GTI, but damn i love my GTI.matrim22 said:It shouldn't. Definitely haven't seen that from those I've gone up against. The Si has basically no torque at all, and what little it does have comes way too late. You should destroy it, especially with your DSG and launch control.HoldDaMayo said:Just remember the Si has a limited slip Differential, so it might be able to get a jump on you at the start.
