What other shift knobs can i get for my 06 gti. I like the 25th anniversary one can i use that?

What other shift knobs can i get for my 06 gti. I like the 25th anniversary one can i use that?

I've been told it is a different system and the old knobs will not fit. anyone have any other info on this?

The accessories brochure lists the "golfball" shift knob similar to the mkI GTI. I'm considering this, but need to purchase my license plates first.

i think the shift knob is god awful looking
