need to take the GTI in tomorrow for the 10000 mile service does anyone know if for anyreason that service would result in the ecu getting the apr reflash erased? i wouldnt assume so unless there was some update from VW for it. i plan on telling the guy doing the job not to do anything to it but would that raise eyebrows for future warrenty issues?

if they do "accidently" erase your tune, you can go to APR and get a retune for free because they have your vin number and can just verify you bought the tune before.

i have that same thing too. just tell the people that you are tuned and not to reflash the ECU. i have an ECU recall flash and every time i go in for a service i tell them not to flash it with the recall because it is tuned. they say " alles ist gut" aka all is well.
