How do you take off those annoying dealer sticker that say the dealerships name on. I cant stand looking at it. does anyone know how to?

Just take it to the dealer and tell them you don't advertise for free and they'll take it off. They have this rubber drill bit thing that they attach to a drill that peels it off.

Hair dryer....It will heat up the sticker and allow you to peel it off.

thats it it wont peal the paint or anything just use a hair dryer and ill be set.

My dealer is cool. I hadn't even thought about the Dealer's decals or license plate frames because I was so stoked on getting the GTI. But later I realized... they didn't try to advertise on my car. I was happy.

If you can't rub it off, I'd suggest using either mineral spirits or goof off.
Make sure after you remove the decal- clean the area with soap and water and then wax the area when done.
Heat gun or a hair dryer. Once the decal is warmed up it should peel off easily. The adhesive should be able to be rubbed off with your finger (don't use your nails).kytreb said:

Goof off is some powerfull stuff...but it will eat paint. Id stick with the goo gone. Not as powerfull, but it wont destroy the paint.

well yeah...just dont leave it on. Ive seen goof off eat through plastic. I swear by that stuff, works wonders on getting oil spots out of concrete.

You can get it at your local hardware store (your'e not gonna find it in the cleaner section of ur grocery store)

stuff smells like paint thinner... or laquer thinner.
