I saw a note about this concern before, but I coudn't find it in search...
Those shiny red brake calipers have slowly faded to a matte red, mostly, in about 6 months. There is still chunks of shiny red, which is why I asked the dealer to take a look. If they're supposed to do that, then fine, but it's kinda funky looking to have 3 dull ones with shiny patches, and 1 completely shiny one.
So, the dealer said, yeah, we compared the state of your car to others like it, and that's normal. The way they are created, they are not expected to stay shiny.
C'est la vie, I guess. Just curious how everyone else's look?
