My RCD-510 reads and plays .wav files. Is this sound right?
I have the plain RCD-510 with the 2way passive front and rear
VCDS is set to NO SOUND SYSTEM

SO, what is the best way to add amp, speakers and sub?
1. soldering RCAs to the high level wires, run to an amp and change the coding to VW AND OR DYNAAUDIO SOUNS SYSTEM with the VCDS
OR
2. just running the high level wires to an LOC (Lc7i) and then to amp?

Ive been relentlessly searching and I'm under the assumption that the number 1 option will yield best results. Are there any opinions you guys can share with me?
currently I have it set up with an LOC no DSP because of $ issues right now. Sounds pretty good......loud and clear.......tweets are way tooooooo loud and have no attenuation switch. the tech at Mmats told me to solder inline 5w 4ohm resistors to chill the tweets which he said would quiet them about 50%............I did that but they're hardly more mellow. still ear bleeds
