Anyone have this problem? I own a Passport 8500 X50...and when im on the highway, with the windows down, with music on....i can't hear the KA bands!!!....that's not a good thing

I don't even have a subwoofer yet.....Any recommendations? Experience with those new ones with external speakers?

well usually it is hard to hear things when the radio is on and your driving 70 mph with the windows down you typically have to turn the music way up to hear it so my recommendation is to drive with the music low and the windows up if you are worried about your radar or get your money back and buy the stealth radar kits about 1200 but it deflects all that junk makes your car invisible and the like and you get to lights inside your dash right by the speedo a red for BAD COP NEAR and a green for GO FAST NOW!!!

Just a quick warning, most lidar systems will read "JAMMED" if a stealth system blocks 'em. That is a bad, bad thing, trust me. Lidar's can easily pick individual targets, so the cop is gonna know who has the jammer.....just saying.

I used to know this cop who had fun finding people with radar detectors and would follow them for miles making their dashboards light up like a christmas tree, while turning the radar unit off and on randomly.
