so youre saying just because a manufacturer sells a small amount of a certain car that it will have higher quality?
yeah i respect the r32, but honestly, if someones tossing me the keys to a loaded up 2007 g35 or an r32, im taking the g35. if vw is gonna sell a "performance" car for 35k, it damn well better be at least throwin down 0-60 in the low 5s. with the competition in todays market, its absurd to do what theyre doing. yes handling matters, but u cant say dollar for dollar there arent other cars that are way better then the r32
You will never have the fastest or the best car. Unless you're rolling down the street in a Veyron, your car is inferior. Some people don't want to sacrifice comfort and build quality for horsepower they will probably never use, because how many times a day to you race people on the streets? (Honestly, most of the "races" people talk about involve one car that didn't even know there was a race...) It's all about personal tastes, nothing else, and to me, the GTI/R32 is the look I want with the level of comfort I want.
Also, about my last post, I never suggested that the less there is of a car, the better quality it is. I merely stated a hypothesis about the Evo failing with those kinds of numbers being sold, then asked the reader to draw their own conclusions about it.
