Putting frame BACK on?! Help plz

So everyone wants to take their plastic front bumper license plate frame off...how do you put it back on!?

The clips no longer fit, and a hammer would shatter the front bumper.....strong adhesive?

I can always drill new holes I guess.... :/

I don't think they'll yell at me...IF i get a ticket, and take it back to dealer...I'm gonna offer money....

Can't I just put my license plate in the dash?

Some nice tech at the dealer put it back on for free...
Said that those frames were made to take a beating...:)
