AHH! i finally am on the internet! my internet is broke at my house so i cant post anything or read the forum! its torture!! but anyways since my last visit here i have purchased and had installed a Greddy 2.5" catback exhaust to connect to my AWE downpipe(removed cat), and i also broke my diverter valve so i have an HKS SQV now in its place. it doesnt sound as nice in my opinion but atleast it holds 20+ boost with no problem :)

i am really trying to save some cash to get a Revo chip. only problem is i think my passanger rim might have a little bend in it. i am saying this because over 75mph my car use to go nuts (someone hit it in accident) and after they replaced the bent rim the car goes alot smoother. right now the car does really drive fine but there is a very slight shake i feel in and it seems to be coming from the driver side wheel... so do you think i should save for a new set or rims?? or just get the Revo chip?
new rims? if you want to be in debt to VW for the rest of your life then go ahead...just get them straightened http://www.rimpro.com/index.html they are supposed to be one of the best but you can always look around locally...cause you would have to send your rim in. for 1 i think itd be like 150

I dunno how new this one is but I just came across it and don't remember seeing anything about it before:

http://www.bshspeedshop.com/store/product.php?productid=16711&cat=0&page=1&featured
That's a new one on me!

At first I thought the price was a bit excessive...then I added up what is included:

- DV
- Noise pipe delete
- Stock DV blank off
- some hose and clamps

Not too bad actually.

Nice find BF!
If U read further they say, "*Note* A good vacuum source is needed for this kit, we offer a product called the V Twin to solve this. Please view the recomended product list for a link to the V Twin page." Which is another $35 part. I bought the air bypass tube from ABD when they were selling for just $50...now they're $85.25! And I got the Forge DV for $250.

Neuspeed has released their direct bolt on FMIC for the MkV GTI (won't fit the A3).

I just shot off an e-mail to them w/ some questions.

Hmm 1,300 bucks and no mention of HP/Torque gains at all? what gives? or did i just miss it somewhere?

Also, there is no guarantee another intake (CAI) will fit if you get this intercooler.

Did they get back to you yet Dragon?

My understanding is that typically intercoolers aren't a part that you buy to gain HP per say. A FMIC is a part you buy to SUPPORT more horsepower, ie keeping everything a little cooler in the engine bay. however, lowering engine temps is a great way to squeeze more power out of the motor as well...

Intercoolers do greatly reduce your motor temps. They also look badass
I'm gonna put and intercooler on my wife's car. It's normally aspirated but oh well...it'll still look cool even if its not doing anything. ;D
You still have that HKS SSQV layin' around? [fish]
Now there's an idea!!
