Picking up my GTI tomorrow - came from Spec-V land
I'm happy to say that it looks like I will be trading in my 04 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V tomorrow for a silver GTI four door with DSG. The only thing that can blow the deal is if they don't give me enough for the trade-in, but they are close and if they hit the right number they know it's a done deal.
Went back and forth on the DSG vs. stick (which I have always driven and loved). I think I'll be adventurous and give the paddles a try - from what I've read, sounds like they are still a lot of fun, and a bit more convenient and faster to boot.
Also thought about the option packages - didn't know if the leather in pkg 2 was worth it, but decided to just go all out and go for it. Hoping it's a nice touch for the car and worth it.
So - looking forwards to seeing what the car (and this forum) has to offer. What's the first thing you do to a car like the GTI?
