Well guys I am new here, looking to get into a Mk4 GTI. I have always loved these cars, but never test driven one.
I have taken out a Jetta GLI and a Mk5 GTI, so I sorta know how these cars feel.
1 quick question, did they have the Mk4 GTI in 2006? I found one on autotrader and am not sure if the new body style came out in late 2006 or what.
Well reason being for me looking to get into a GTI, my 1991 MR2 Turbo that I had been building over the period of 1 year caught on fire 2-3 weeks after being finished. Dyno'd at 270whp on a Conservative Tune to break the engine in on a 90+ degree weather day.
Took about 1 minute for it to completely reach the interior of the car, then about 10 minutes to end up like it is in the pictures.
If anyone is out looking for a new Insurance company, I suggest you look into Geico. They have been nothing but helpful and quick since this happened.
