please do excuse 1stly for prevoiusly owning a peugeot prevoiusly, and now madly in love with this vw beast ive just bought , Can anyone tell me how u get the side mirrors to tilt down when selecting reverse gear, cant seem to find how u do it, or am i right in saying vw have removed this option for sefety reasons???. cheers guys in advance

Can't be done. Nobody has figured out how to change the coding...if it is even possible!

On my father's Audi you need to have the mirror tiliting switch set on one of the mirrors (as opposed to centered), I think. I'm pretty sure it's an Audi thing though, not available on VWs.

yes cheers for your help, it looks nice in blue, its pearlesent or Metalic paint also, although it looks light in that photo, when its evening it turns to a darker blue, gets alot of looks when im out and about in it. 8)
