Just got my new '07 GTI yesterday.. WOW! Totally different experience then what I'm used to in an acura integra. This car rides and shifts smooth.

Its Black Magic with leather interior and the 18" rims. I'll have some pictures when my camera is back from Future Shop.

OH NO! SHE HAS A BIRTHMARK! :p

Looks like there was a small but deep dent in the roof I didn't notice until the weather cleared up. It is not from a rock as it looks like it was hit directly downwards creating a dent and missing paint.

Took it to the dealer today to show them and they agreed that it was not from being driven and must have been there on delivery. They are going to make and appointment and phone me back to get it repaired. They said it will need to be pushed from the other side then touched up. Sounds like they we're a bit ticked off the detailer didn't bottom

As long as you can't tell without getting ultra close, I'll be happy.

Also bought some monster mats while at the dealership, keep the sand out of the fabric.

From my upstairs window, when I looked down at the car the dimple in the reflection was quite noticible.

It looks VERY minor in that photo but it is easier to see then that. and is wide. It is about 1/2 cm by 1cm

Snow Covered '07 MK5 GTI 2.0T

The car was very 'cool' looking on this day ;) Covered in ICE (and snow).

I didn't take off any more snow or ice then this because i didn't want to chance damaging the paint.

Cars were parked near the road, here is the spot after being moved:

When I woke up, The snow stole my fast:

Before I went to bed, the snow stole my fast:

The day before the snow stole the fast:

Lets just say... 18" summers /w lots of torque == no good in the snow. any time it went over 2000rpm they would break free and have no grip.

And on a side note, always take down your gazebos BEFORE the snow ;)

Surrey to be exact Thalo.

Where I live we received some of the most snow. We get more then lots of places even here in surrey as the area we live in is the high point of the area. Every way you go from here is downhill.

Do they even sell winter tires in the Vancouver area? Must be quite the shocker for you guys.

Apparently it actually got close to 70 degrees in New York, yet there's snow on the west coast, midwest, Texas.
