I came from work today only to find my car gone. I called the towing companie but they didnt have it and it wasnt in a area where i would get towed. The only conclusion left is that it got stolen.

If anyone in Vancouver area sees this car please call the police or msg me.
Plate #606 GPG they would probably take them off but who knows maybe they are stupid.

It has a German flag decal on the back next to the GTI logo its slanted and goes BlackRedYellow

I am sorry to hear about your stolen ride, that truly SUCKS ASS!!! I just got my GTI back from the body shop today, I was without my car for two weeks, everyone at work said I was a moody bitch during that time. I can only imagine having it gone forever. :'(

The funny thing is ive been waiting 9 weeks to get my custom MY FAST german licence plate and i got it today after my car was stolen, i just cant catch a break.

I had a car stolen a few years back and the experience was terrible;
I spent the extra $$$ for the LoJack/EWS on my GTI and if anyone steals my ride I wanna make sure they get caught
If I catch somone, it will be a very unpleasant experience for them and they WILL be happy when the cops and the ambulance show up

I've had 2 vehicles stolen since I've been on the west coast. I know the feeling. I'm stickying this thread for a few days. You may want to give your last 6 of the vin, best way to identify it as they have probably removed the plates, stickers and any other identifying marks.

Oh my god i almost had a heart attack. Police called me today and they said they think they found my car and i need to come down to see it. They said it looked bad and could not get positive id. I went down and the car was torn appart.

Damn, didn't keep my eyes on that.. But it is identical to the picture minus the fact I don't remember if it had the painted side panels. The one I saw did also have rear window tint.

I just confirmed with my girlfriend it did in fact have painted side panels. Now, we aren't 100% on this, but pretty darn sure after reviewing images of a stock GTI without the painted side panels, I would have to say they we're painted as they would have stuck out like a sore thumb to me had they not.

I saw the vehicle heading Westbound on King Road as it crosses over McCallum Road.

This was way out in Abbotsford else I would hop in my car right now and spend a few hours searching around the area.

I also would have taken more time if I was not already late and driving my girlfriend to a photo shoot.
