We were hacked friday night by a hacker named KucuK_HacKeR . He defaced the site and redirected it to claim responsibility for the HACK. Normally I'd be very pissed off. But, from looking at the things he had access to, he could have destroyed the site if he had wanted to. As it is, he only alerted us to security holes. So this is actually a Hacker with honor. He knows he has the knowledge and power to destroy but he chose not to. For this, I'm very thankful. We are fixing the security holes and should be more secure against any future attacks. We're still working on fixing the securty issues, so the portal, shoutbox, recent posts, etc. will not be available until we can fix these issues. The forum itself, it fine.

Man, I go without internet at home for a couple of weeks, and way too busy at work to check. I finally get reconnected and MFGTI is a no go. Glad your getting everything straightened out!!!

Seems someone affiliated with a hacker club, claimed to be me. From what we can tell, they didn't have a grudge against us, it was just a case of mistaken identity. We were very lucky though, as Turkish hackers are know to be the best in the world. These are guys I definitely wouldn't want on my bad side. To lower security risks and to give us more features, I'm working on intergrating joomla into the site. We are on this server temporarily until I have everything set up on the new server. I'm hoping that We'll be able to have everything migrated over soon. Again, this will give us a new photo gallery, video gallery, classified section and a lot more. You may experience some problems with the boards until I get it migrated. The time I would spend fixing the small problems here, I can use setting up the new site. It will be bigger and better.

PS. If you have problems logging out/in or posting, clear your cookies. Something happened to the cookies when we were hacked. I've checked it for viruses and worms and a security issue isn't the problem.
