well here is my idea for a route its 1 hour and 10 mins from the start and back to skyline drive

start:

1.Garden State Plaza Mall, 1 Garden State Plz, Paramus, NJ 07652, 201-843-2404

2.Skyline Dr Oakland, NJ

3.onto GREENWOOD LAKE TURNPIKE/CR-511.

4. onto sloatsburg rd

5. onto margaret king ave

6.back onto GREENWOOD LAKE TURNPIKE/CR-511.

7.onto MARSHALL HILL RD/CR-696.

8.MARSHALL HILL RD/CR-696 becomes UNION VALLEY RD/CR-513.

9.onto Macopin Rd West Milford nj

10.onto westbrook rd

11.back onto ringwood ave(greenwood lake turnpike)

12. back to skyline dr

13.287 to 208 back to the garden state or where ever you want to go.

we can bring walkies and pick our own stops for pictures and all....

ps. im out for this week end so maybe we can pull this off next weekend. let me know

MkV cruisin???? I suggest either route 80 to route 46 or turnpike from fort lee area till around perth amboy?? I need to have my fast mingle with others... so far all it gets is the scared cold shoulders of little hondas thinking they are fast enough... but my "buttons" hates being out-run by asian cars.... hasn't yet.

i was just in NJ last month for the VW show and there wasnt all that many people driving GTI's.. it was very disappointing.... but we did race someone in a supped up jetta...that was a lot faster then we expected.. but we still wooped his ass ;D

I was thinking maybe friday or sat night when the turn out at the shore is usually the biggest any one have any suggestions on start off point give me a clue what you guys are close to so we can hopefully get something together tryin to get all the gtis and vw in the central jersey area it be awesome to have a great turn out

Hey all i just bought a GTI from bernardsville VW in jersey and looking to go racing around anyone up for it i live in newton NJ its northern part 30 min away from 80. Does anyone know of a place to get aftermarket parts in northern Jersey? i have not really looked but i was just wondering. O0
