My 2002 1.8T is throwing 5 codes: P0171 (mixture too lean) and P0300-P0303 (misfires). I recently replaced the MAF and the spark plugs, and I couldn't find any vacuum leaks. Any idea what the problem could be?
Ya, it shudders on hard acceleration and the CEL will sometimes flash, but if I back of the gas it goes away.any problems while driving car? flashing CEL?
Its a coil pack. what gear does it happen in?Ya, it shudders on hard acceleration and the CEL will sometimes flash, but if I back of the gas it goes away.
****, I was hoping that wasn't the case... I replaced the coils in '08, would they be bad already? It happens in 3rd and 4th.Its a coil pack. what gear does it happen in?

Yeah looks like your coil packs in cylinder 1 2 and 3 are misfiring. My 2002 1.8T is throwing 5 codes: P0171 (mixture too lean) and P0300-P0303 (misfires). I recently replaced the MAF and the spark plugs, and I couldn't find any vacuum leaks. Any idea what the problem could be?

So would that explain the other code as well (P0171, mixture too lean)?Yeah looks like your coil packs in cylinder 1 2 and 3 are misfiring.
Not sure, possible though. So would that explain the other code as well (P0171, mixture too lean)?
Alright, well I'll swap those out, see if it fixes it. Thanks! Not sure, possible though.
I was having coil pack problems, which I just replaced.
And I was also having a mixture too lean code.
If I can get my dam codes cleared, well see if the Lean one comes back
