I managed to get a very minor surface scratch on the driver door as well as a couple of small knicks that are down to the white. What works to get rid of these, other than a $450 pro job. Does that GS27 crap or whatever its called work. Suggestions?

in the UK i'd reccoment somthing called T-Cut its a polish that's slightly abrasive that if your scratch is just the laquer and doesn't go too deep you can use this to polish down a few layers of the laquer which removes the scratch .. then you just wax / polish it up - scratch gone

also you can try colour restorer's i use Auto glym wax for my Magic black and i have no swirls or anything on it at all (waxed every 6 weeks) minor scratches polish out as there is some abrasive quality to colour restorers as well.. definetly worth a go and only a fe ? or $ a bottle....

just make sure what ever you buy is ment for METALLIC paint!
