So less then 5000 miles and the MIL comes on!!! I have no idea what I was doing when it came on but I can tell you it was leaving a bar at about midnight with a couple of ladies and let me tell you I wasnt very happy about getting in my brand new car and seeing that ugly amber light staring back at me..

Anyone else have the computer set a code for somthing??

As for the light I haven't seen that one. Nor did I come across anything like that while messing around with vagcom. I'd just run it to the dealer have them scan it and report back....sorry but that is the best I got. O

thats pretty lame. just bring it to the dealer and tell them this is making yer fast very unhappy and when yer fast gets unhappy... he eats car dealers brains!

What?!?

How do they expect to sell cars when they're not open on the weekends? I can understand the service department being only minimally manned on weekends, but not the dealership. Holy crap.

You had me concerned for a moment. And looking back, that makes sense, but the the time of my posting, I hadn't had my coffee yet. As much as I hate that excuse, it's the truth.

The dealership I worked at had 2 techs (total of 8 of us) in on Saturday and was closed on Sunday. And that was a small dealership. The (huge) Honda shop across the street had 5 or so techs (out of about 20) on Saturday. I can't see a single disadvantage to having a few guys work the weekends for people who may not necessarily be able to make it in during the week.

as much as I hated working the weekends in my old shop there was always somone in need and that was a private shop not somwhere that you just spent 25 grrr and cant even have anyone look at it untill the weekday

My MIL hasnt come on, but I started noticing this week that the MFD is telling me that serivce will be needed in 800 miles os so many days, which makes since, there are 4200 fun miles on my fast. will change the oil at 5k.

yeah I rolled over my 5 grand mark this weekend and im trying to schedule an appointment right now to get it changed

also the MIL has not shown itself in quite a few days now which is interesting I dont know when it went out maybe after a large smokey burn out or after I kick the girl out that was sitting in the passenger seat she could have been making my fast very unhappy
