Volkswagen Wolfsburg Edition Passat Now Available in Showrooms (The Auto Channel)


AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 20 -- Volkswagen of America, Inc. announced today that the Wolfsburg Edition Passat is now available at dealers. Volkswagen will produce approximately 6,000 of these special edition models.

And our GTI's are actually assembled in Wolfsburg, not Mexico.

Pretty sure Passats are made in Wolfsburg too.

You're right, Thalo. At least mostly right. It's the Jetta (even the Wolfsburg Edition) that are made in Mexico. Passats are in fact made in Germany; but at the Mosel plant instead of Wolfsburg.
