Volkswagen Recall (KVII 7 Amarillo)


(AP) -- Volkswagen is recalling 790,000 vehicles from several models because of problems with the brake light switch. The recall involves the 1999 to 2006 model years of the Golf and GTI, as well as 2001- to 2005-model Jettas, 2001- to 2007-model New Beetles and 2004-model R-32's.

Do we know if the recall affects the MkV?

I'm trying to find out more about the situation. From what I've learned so far, it does affect the MKV. That's why we're getting so many duplicate feeds from different news agencies.
