Not specifically where you work, but the kind of work you do.

For example, I am currently in IT. I deal with the infrastructure aspect of networks. But I am going to school for video game art and design.

I work for the USCG as an Aviation Electrical Technician and Flight Mechanic on our HH-65's.

Before that I worked Big Retail and Volunteered as Fire Fighter/EMT in my home town.

I am a full time whore of the posting kind and a part time insurance claims person moving over to the brighter side of insurance as a homeowners underwriter. When you see accidents all day and deal with more gory claims it wears on ya, so I'm gettin out of it. Homeowners is more intense in terms of every little thing counts, but I dont hafta see mangled cars and bodies all day. O0

I used to be a chef, but got burnt out after like 5 years of working double time much of the time and trying to go to school at the same time.

The m-f 9-5 gig is mucho better !!! Weekends and holidays off, O YEAH !!! >:D

Agreed.. we had a few Prowlers with us during our convoy from Kandahar to Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. You knew when they were on station, to say the least ^-^
Is it just me, or is there a lot of people who are employed by the military on this site? Lots of respect.
I'm a musician/audio engineer but since it doesn't pay all the bills i'm also a Police and Fire Truck Mechanic for the city of garden grove, California. I've been working on cars since my dad handed me the wash sponge when i was about 3. I also own a 1967 Bronco with a 302 3 spd., a 1969 Mach One Mustang with a 351 cleveland and FMX trans., a 1976 Jeep Cj-5 V8, and my less than a week old 2007 United Gray GTI Fast. Needless to say, i'm a mechanic...... but i've never done German.... this should be fun!!!
