finally i took a pick going over 130mph using the spedo on my comp screen. If you dont believe me now about not being a govoner then i dont know what will. Remember you can only set the speed trap to 130mph.

All you would really need to do, if you can't manage to take a picture while driving 140mph+, would be set the speed warning thing. There's no other way you can set it without actually driving that speed. Then take the picture of the MFD afterwards.

I hate to bring negative news to this page about the Mk V... but here it goes.

Our speedometers are off by as much 13 mph. Yes its true and I`ll let you know how to check your own fast.

At 100 mph on the speedo we are actually at 91 mph
At 140 mph " " 127 mph

If you press the ECON button along with the UP circulation button at the same time. You will see the temp screens change. Turn the diver side to the left to reflect 19, then turn the fan speed one click to the right and you will see your actual speed on the passenger side temp screen.

Yes, we are governed to 130 mph. No matter wheel option or transmission.

I have tested it on a DSG and on my very own manual.
