My stealer said that desabling the DRL will prevent my "Flash to Pass" lights from working. Can someone who has had their DRL disabled comment on this, please?

I've never had DRL's, but my flash to pass has always worked.

they may charge you but not much ask others who live by you if they have a vag com

What type of vag-com do people have? I took a look at the site above and I am a little apprehensive to spent $600 just to turn off the DRL's and make the windows roll down via remote. I have spoken to several dealerships in the San Diego area (where I am at) and none of them will touch this stuff.

trust me, when u own a VW you should always hav ea vagcom handy.

you can buy a good vag-com for $350 on the site.

VAG is a great thing to have and can be had for 350$ from ross-tech.

Some of the guys that have them already, and say they work great, say the have the Micro-Can set from Ross Tech. they only run $250. Do you guys know about this? I was on the site, and it seems to jive with what ross says too. I just don't want to get stuck with one that doesn't work. The $600 you mentioned must have been for the prof kit. :-*
