Especially the 20th and 25th gti's.
Im continuing mine and my daughters passion for collecting Vw's and Audi's

Its really difficult to know with out doing a few things.
First Id do a compression test
Mk4’s run about 180psi
If that checks out a wet test to determine if the valves are seating.
Pretty sure the only thing left after that would be the turbo.
