i miss my GTI :(

well as some of you may know awhile back my car was in a hit and run while i was at school (3 months ago) finally it is now in the shop getting fixed (will have it back on tuesday if all goes well) so i am currently driving my dads maxima SE and he has a rental car.... so yes being use to my GTI i was driving the maxima and turned into where i work... lemme just say, wow nice turning radious NOT!, holy crap there was a guy riding his motorcycle and was trying to turn and for some moronic reason tried to go in the middle of the speedbump where it was flat even though i was turning... so yeah i saw him coming stopped the car and he freaked out and dropped the bike on the front bumper. now my dads car has a broken fog light and a hole in the bumper! i donno if i am lucky or not for not have been in my GTI (should of had it last friday before accident happened but insurance complications made it not possible) even though i probably would have been able to make the turn alot tighter so even for the guy on the bike being an idiot and driving in the middle of the road i could of turned tight and missed him... or what if he still flipped out and dropped it on my newly fixed car... guess the world may never know... but damn do i miss my GTI :-[
(tuesday me and my fast are going for a joy ride >)

PS: i live in florida and due to all the hurricanes last year many cars are still damaged and thats why it has taken 3 months to get my car into the shop... 4 out of every 5 cars to this day that go into body shops are still from the hurricanes last year... and as you may know... that time of the year is approaching yet again. i think we should all pray tonight that the hurricane doesnt take any GTI's to the junkyard this year.
