Heres the problem I love the GTI Fahrenheit, the limited edition one, but i love the rims that come with the regular GTI at your local VW dealer.

Some of my friends told me the orange is a little feminine and that i should buy the red

i dont really want grey or black because i want my gti to stand out

the only reason im reconsidering the orange is because of the rims, and maybe i can buy the GTI Fahrenheit and then change the rims because the Fahrenheit comes fully loaded for 28k and if i get the regular GTI fully loaded i think it goes up to 30k

Please GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ASAP!!

thanks. =] vdubs rock~~

I haven't seen the Farenheit edition but I bought a Tornado Red GTI and love it! The silver, dark grey, and black were nice looking but the red really stands out. Mine have wheels similar to the Exis wheels but aren't exactly like those. If you want to get noticed, get the Tornado Red >:D

go for the Orange, there is only 1,200 to be made i think (maybe it was 12,000) but besides that number you will have a special edition GTI, i was looking at them on VW's site the other day in school and love em, matching leather interior, fully loaded, go for the orange

i do believe this special addition GTI Fahrenheit runs lower HP then the GTI and lower torque. i also believe it is a 5 speed not a 6... if this really is true then i wouldnt get it... considering it also costs more money then the GTI.

alright guys so I think im going to go with the Fahrenheit 8)

the fahrenheit comes with the mathing interior, its actualy cheaper than the standard fully loaded GTI, the engine specs are the exact same, and i believe it only comes with the DSG transmission which is what i was going to get anyways

oh ya and its 1,200 made =]

thanks alot guys ill let you know when i get it

Although you've made your decision, I just want to chime in with "Damn good choice!" Orange might be an unusual color, but it'll be a great almost one of a kind GTI to have!

If you decide against it, let me know. Buy it anyway, and we can work out a trade... ;D

I had to vote for UG... I've had mine for about 4 months now and LOVE it. It's a really cool, monochromatic look with the grey interior and the grey on the inside of the Huff wheels.

The red is nice looking, but unless you keep it inside and constantly waxed, IME red cars seem to oxidize over time and turn kinda hazy.

The orange is a little to loud for my taste... I like to be more incognito... not to mention that I would think it would severly hurt re-sale value... not too many people are willing to buy an orange car.

The orange certainly looks cool, but I certainly don't think it would fit my age (over 18) and gender. I really like the look on the interior though, with the orang stitching, shiny orange panel thingies. I'd prefer if it still had a metal GTI thing on the bottom of the steering wheel though, that's one of the coolest things about my car.
