in nj you cant pump your own gas...so this weekend i drive in, tell the guy to fill it with the 93, and he proceeds to ignore me and give me regular. so as he starts to put some in i catch him, and tell him i wanted the 93, not the regular. he gets mad at me for stopping him. i asked my fiance if i asked for 93 and she said yes, so i know that i wasnt didnt make a mistake.

i pumped gas in college, i know it is a mindless job, but still at least listen for the 3 seconds while someone tells you what kind of gas they want

he got about 5 cents in when i stopped him. i did have to pay them

i dont care so much about the money or anything, but if i hadnt noticed, and it was filled with regular, and something happened because VW requires the 92+ octane, who would be shafted...me!!!

this happened once in my rx8 and the engine had a really rough idol until it the octane was raised. i kept putting gas in it to help out, i went to the sunoco and filled it with 94 almost every day to get the octane back up
