i installed hyper whites in all the interior lights: floor, glove box, dome, rear dome, rear hatch, reverse lights, license plate.

what stock #'s you mean. The lighting is pretty simple for the interior just use a flat head screw driver to pry open the dome lights. Tell me what you need exactly.

Just a screwdriver to pry off the clear portion of the dome lights? And another thing.. any idea of what the stock # is for the reverse lights? And was the install tough, I heard the housing is a bitch to get out. Any help would be great BlackGTI06..

The only pain is getting the clear plastic pieces off the dome. Becareful not to crack the plastic. The reverse lights im not sure but i'll get back to you on that. Overall the installtion was not tough. Rating 1 being the easyest and 10 the hardest i'd give it a 3

lol nice thread revival ... the easiest way i found is t just install some red led strips wired to a toggle switch

I own a VAG-COM and have manipulated many of the settings
in the Vehicle Electrical System Controller J519,
but I have not tripped across that one.
I have found the long coding setting that activates / de-activates the footwell light circuit.

Found the setting for the footwell lights intensity in adaptation

But equivalents for both those settings are accessible in the full MFD on US mk5 GTIs.

I installed blacklights in all of my interior lights, took about an hour or two, and careful prying with a thin, flat screwdriver covered in tape to protect the plastic. I bought the bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com. They have the 12v lights for cars.
