Yes i have a ssqv super sequential. I love it! I also had a greddy type-RS and it was nice as well.
It depends on what sound you like. I would go on youtube and look them up. I love the hks and I've been told it's the best. It is also the most expensive. The greddy/Forge BOV's are much much cheaper.
It depends on if you want to spend the money and what sound you want.

Indeed, YouTube is an incredibly source for BOV sounds. But i drove a friends 240 with the sr swap and he has this BOV and omg... (drools)

I did find a whole recirculation HKS SSQV kit for right at about 350$ plus shipping.

The SSQV is actually the BEST BOV out on the market as it does not leak, ever. No boost surge, no problems...

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=3262&rsku=6328 (from HKS directly)

I'm sure if you do better search you can find it cheaper. Maybe I'll get this come tax return season... (ponders a thought)

The point is that it's not ecu actuated...I think this is the biggest issue with our cars.

For the MkV's yes. A lot of mkiv owners can make this swap... Unfortunately over 2/3rds of this board is MKV owners... I'm sure there is a way to make this work with an MKV, I've seen a few guys on the forum that actually have it installed...

Main reason behind it being that our DV's recirculate the air back into the intake to prevent surge, if that isn't happening, our cars would have boost surge and lead to premature turbo failure and possibly more...

As for the SSQV, they have the recirculation kit included in the vehicle specific kit that HKS offers...

Basically, Take a look at the DV you have on your car now. There hose on the very top of that recirculates the air back into the system, leading to the wastegate on our cars I believe, would have to double check that. Best place to tie in a boost gauge too ;)

Anyhow, I shall look for the HKS Kit that includes all of the piping and re-routing of hoses for our motor. Still recirculates and has a much louder sound, along with the signature SSQV sound.
