Indeed, YouTube is an incredibly source for BOV sounds. But i drove a friends 240 with the sr swap and he has this BOV and omg... (drools)Yes i have a ssqv super sequential. I love it! I also had a greddy type-RS and it was nice as well.
It depends on what sound you like. I would go on youtube and look them up. I love the hks and I've been told it's the best. It is also the most expensive. The greddy/Forge BOV's are much much cheaper.
It depends on if you want to spend the money and what sound you want.
For the MkV's yes. A lot of mkiv owners can make this swap... Unfortunately over 2/3rds of this board is MKV owners... I'm sure there is a way to make this work with an MKV, I've seen a few guys on the forum that actually have it installed...The point is that it's not ecu actuated...I think this is the biggest issue with our cars.
Main reason behind it being that our DV's recirculate the air back into the intake to prevent surge, if that isn't happening, our cars would have boost surge and lead to premature turbo failure and possibly more...I take my car to a VW/Audi specialist (Volkwurks) they are great!, anyways he told me that he wouldnt suggest a BOV on a 1.8T
