Hey guys I was looking to get some new side markers for my candy white mkv gti. I recently got some r32 style taillights and what I was really looking for was some smoked red side markers to match my tails. Has anyone ever seen such a thing? If they exist could anyone send me a link or a place to look I've checked ECS and googled around a bit already. For all I know they don't exist.

Body shop, ask them to paint them the same color as your car.

It is. You can buy a spray can of your car paint for about $20 and DIY.

I found this place, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm willing to give it a shot for $20 though.

Also, you can call the dealer and see how much they charge for an aerosol can. I'm willing to bet it's less than $75.

Oh nice! I'm probably going to get some. I never priced the clear or shipping, just the paint.

Yea it's not too bad. Shipping was like $8+ and the clear was $7 n change. If you end up getting some, lemme know how it matches!
It might be cool to have color matches brushed aluminum interior pieces, or a United Grey cell phone case. Think it would work as a cheap way to paint the skirt lip and rear?

I don't think other colors would look good over the amber though. It still shows through.

I don't know if it will look good over a large area like the lip or the rear. Usually, the smaller the area for sprays the better. Unless you're talented. Most are not...Including me.
