i cant seem to find any aftermarket part sites for the Mk5 GTI i am new to the European auto scene so i dont really know where to look

That should help you get a step up. just read through all the threads in the mods, how-to's, and installs forum and you will find links spread all over there but the ones up top should get you an idea of whats out there.
